How Can My CPA Help Me Accomplish Great Things?

Take life by the horns and move forward achieving success in your life no matter what circumstances you face.  Because “the scene of this world is (ever) changing” many have found “the rug pulled out from underneath them”.  Perhaps this has happened to you.  You had your whole life “mapped out” only to find your life changed as the world has been “turned upside down”.  Now is not the time to “retreat into a shell”.  Now is the time to take charge and take advantage of the opportunities you do have.

How can you use your CPA to help you with this.  Think about his situation.  He sees a wide variety of people every year and hears about their experiences and plans.  In many ways a CPA is like a bartender.  Yes, he can/should do a good job preparing your tax return for you, but he has also heard so much about so many ideas and he has had a ”catbird seat” to see how it all turns out.  He can help you to talk through your situation and your plan, whether that be your income producing opportunities, debt management, retirement planning, estate planning, an exit strategy for your business and many more.  Use your CPA as a “sounding board” and take advantage of his knowledge and expertise to benefit yourself.  Do not be content just to get the tax return done.  Attack the opportunities you have and be open to hear about opportunities from someone who sees so many from his “catbird seat”.

Well Mr. CPA, give us an example.  From the tax returns I have done and conversations with clients, one of the more profitable investments I have seen are trailer parks.  They are not glamorous but they can consistently generate profits and cash flow.  The numbers I have seen make rental homes look like a horrible investment.  How would you know?  You would not know otherwise unless you had a CPA that shared what he has seen from his “catbird seat”.

I also see what types of businesses succeed in generating profits and cash flow.  I see what fails and what is no longer working.  So a CPA is not only a person of influence who can connect you with others he can also be somewhat of a guide and help you take advantage of your current situation no matter what it is.

Now here is where the “tire meets the road”, many CPAs just keep quiet.  You need a CPA that will listen and then share.  Many CPAs bill by the hour so you do not want to talk to them and you really should not want to do business with them.  Myself and others bill based on value.  If you are having hard times financially then you pay less now but as we help you succeed then you pay more.  So get a CPA who will be in it with you not one who just prepares your tax return.  Call me today using the contact information below and let’s accomplish great things together.
